Ratneshwar Mahadev Temple
Riverfront near Scindia Ghat
History & traditions
The Kashi portal describes early drawings in which this Nagara-style Shiva temple appears upright and later records showing its lean. One local legend links the name to Ratna Bai. The temple’s position low on the riverfront means that the base and sanctum can disappear under the Ganga when the water rises.
